JAMMU: Vaibhav Abrol of JK Public School Panjtirthi brought laurels to the institution by winning a bronze medal in the National School Games held under the banner of School Games Federation of India (SGFI) in Telengana.
Contested in 29 kg category, Vaibhav Abrol won four fights to reach the semifinals and lost the in a row but missed to won silver by a narrow margin, reports reaching here said.
Meanwhile, Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah appreciated Vaibhav, a 6th class student, for his performance.
Important to mention here that Vaibhav has already won a gold medal in the National Taekwondo Championship held at Jaipur. He has also won a gold and silver in the state championships.
