Jammu wins u-19 State level Cricket trophy

KATHUA: Jammu won the trophy of State Level Cricket under-19 Tournament for boys organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Sports Stadium, here on Saturday.
The tournament, on best of three basis, was held under the directions of Director General Youth Services and Sports Jammu and Kashmir.
In opening match, Jammu Division outplayed Kashmir Division by
16 runs.
Batting first after winning the toss, Jammu made 91 runs in seven overs which in reply, boys of Kashmir Division falied to chase and manage to score 75 runs thus lost the match by 16 runs.
In another match, batting first, Kashmir set the target of 53 runs in seven overs which in reply Jammu achieved in last over by losing just two wickets. Irfan, Vijay and Kapil of Jammu played well for the team.
The competitions were held under the overall supervision of Sunil Kumar DYSSO Kathua. Joginder Kumar Khajuria, Rajesh Kumar ZPEO, Ram Lubaya, Omkar Singh, Sandeepan Sharma, Tarsem Lal, Mohan Lal Dub and Raghbir Puri were also present.
