RAMBAN: Police on Tuesday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 4,080 intoxicating capsules from his possession.
Acting on a specific information, a police party led by SI Mohd Irfan Wani, In-Charge Police Party Jawahar Tunnel, laid a special Naka at Security Check Point Jawahar Tunnel. During checking of one Mohammed Imran son of Gulam Mohammed Sofi resident of Peer Bagh Nadur Gund Tehsil and District Budgam, 4,080 capsules in 170 strips of Spasmo Proxyvon Plus carried in a bag were recovered from his possession. The said accused was travelling in an Innova Taxi No. JK01R – 7794.
