KATHUA:Additional District Development Commissioner Kathua, Narinder Singh Bali, on Wednesday took stock of problems of the people during weekly Prayas meeting.
As many as, nine callers registered their grievances and problems which were mostly related to basic amenities.
ADDC directed the officers to take up necessary steps for redressal of people registered under the initiative.
It is pertinent to mention here that Prayas is an initiative by district administration Kathua devised to address the problems of people especially hailing from far off and hilly areas who have to cover a long distance to project issues and grievances before the district administration. Besides, more than 500 complaints mostly related to the basic amenities were registered during the year 2014 under Prayas.
