MAHORE: Police on Thursday foiled a bovines smuggling bid by rescuing six bovines and arresting three smugglers.
As per the details, on a specific information, SHO Police Station Mahore and Incharge Police Post Shajroo laid a Naka at Budhankote near forest hut and rescued six bovines from the possession of Ali Mohd son of Imam Din, Mohd Hussain and Mir Hussain sons of Ali Mohd all residents of Budhan Tehsil Mahore.
The accused persons were carrying these bovines without any legal documents. They intended to smuggle these animals towards Kashmir via Dagan Top.
The accused persons were arrested and a case vide FIR No.05/2017 under section 188 RPC was registered at Police Station Mahore.
