MAHORE: Police on foiled a bovine smuggling bid and rescued 20 bovines and arresting a smuggler.
As per the reports, a specific information was received at Police Station Mahore that some bovine smugglers were on way alongwith bovines towards Kashmir via Gulabgarh without any legal permission. On this, a Police team from Police Post Dewal and SPP Arbaise was deputed to Gulabgarh. A special Naka laid at Chillibas (Shabrass) Gulabgarh by the police team under the supervision of Mohd Aslam, SDPO Mahore and rescued 20 bovines from the possession of the accused person. The accused person was identified as Zubair Ahmed son of Jalil Ahmed resident of Channa Tehsil Chassana District Reasi. The accused person was arrested and case vide FIR No.69/2016 under section 188 RPC was registered at Police Station Mahore.
