SAMBA/KATRA : Police on Thursday arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 158 gm poppy straw and 200 gm Charas from their possession.
According to a report, acting on an information of District Special Branch Samba, a party of Police Station Bari Brahmana headed by Inspector Mahesh Sharma arrested one drug peddler namely Bashir Ahmed son of Ali Mohd. resident of Magagham Tehsil Kokernag District Anantnag from Industrial area Bari Brahmana and recovered 158 gm poppy straw and 150 gm Charas from his possession. The accused was arrested on the spot and a case vide FIR No. 196/2017 under section 8/15/20 NDPS Act was registered against him at Police Station Bari Brahmana.
According to a report, During patrolling at Banganga, police intercepted one Rajinder Kumar son of Jagdish Raj resident of Maherajagiran Tehsil Mehramindarain Distt Jammu and during search, recovered three Chhallian of Charas weighing 50 gram from his possession. A case vide FIR/No 208/17 under section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered against him. The arrest was made by Insp Arvind Sambyal .
