KISHTWAR: After Mehbooba Mufti was sworn in as Chief Minister, Peoples Democratic Party’s supporters gathered at the Dak Banglow Kishtwar here to celebrate the great moment.
Peoples Democratic Party’s leaders and workers led a massive rally from Dak Bungalow to Bus Stand Kishtwar on the ocassion of Mehbooba Mufti’s taking oath as the first woman, Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir State.
Speaking on the occasion, PDP District President Kishtwar, Sheikh Nasir, said that Mehbooba is the strongest lady of State and she would work with zeal and zest for the overall development of State in general .
“There was a stagnation over development in Jammu and Kashmir during the last Coalition Government NC-Congress led by Omar Abdullah but after 2014 assembly elections PDP-BJP Coalition under the Chief Ministership of late Mufti gathered pace in developmental policies and this position Mufti Sahab’s daughter is enough competent and experienced politician to carry his policies in future and development process will gather pace”, he added.
However, District General Secretary PDP Kishtwar , Ishtiyaq Hussain Waza, said that Mehbooba ji is visionary and experienced politician of India and she has always work to encourage peace, harmony and development in societies, he added.
“Congratulations to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Lets all put in our efforts to start a new chapter of development and prosperity in the state. More empowerment to the masses. The Peoples Chief Minister is here”, expressed Malik Mohd Umar, State Secretary Youth PDP.
