R S PURA: Namrta Sharma State General Secretary Pradesh Congress Committee on Sunday held BJP responsible for the political standoff in the State and termed it a party with double standards. She was addressing a public meeting at border village of Allah at Arnia. She termed BJP as a party with no credibility and called it a party of fake sloganeers. “Narendra Modi led BJP Government at the centre has increased the miseries of the poor and middle class manifold due to escalation of prices”, she said and added that State BJP is exposed due to lies it spread including setting up of AIIMS in Jammu and revocation of tax on Mata Vaishno Devi chopper service which is still in cold storage.
She accused BJP of deceiving the people of Jammu Province and surrendering the interests of Jammu to PDP for the sake of power.
“The misrule and mis-governance of BJP-PDP coalition is a big question mark on the progress and stability of the State”, she said. Namrta appealed to the Governor to hold open public Darbars for the redressal of people’s grievances rather than depending on the Advisors who prefer to govern through closed door meetings keeping distance from people. Namrta demanded for measures for the development of neglected Bishnah Constituency and assured the people that Congress party will fight for their rights. She urged Governor for upgrading the Bishnah Hospital, proper ration supply and repair of dilapidated roads in Arnia, Allah, Rehal, Kheri, Chack Hasal and Bishnah. Jai Kumar, Bholi Devi, Rakesh Kumar, Bachno Devi, Vaishno Devi, Neeta Devi, Som Kumar, Shanta Devi, Koushalya Devi and Parseeno Devi were also present.
