UDHAMPUR: In the ongoing Zonal Level Inter School tournament of Zone Dudu for Under -14 Boys and Girls at Govt. High School Dudu Kirchi, today 414 boys and 49 girls drawn from different 20 Government institutions participated in sports disciplines of Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Athletics and Tug of War.
The event was started in the presence of Headmaster Govt. High School Dudu Kirchi Shamsher Ahmed along with other staff of the institution and field staff of Youth Services & Sports.
The competitions are being organized under the patronage ship of Subash Chander Chibber, Director Youth Services and Sports UT of J&K, chairmanship of Dharam Vir Singh District Youth Services & Sports Officer Udhampur and supervision of Malik Ifftikhar Iqbal PEM, I/C Zonal Physical Education Office Dudu.
Today’s Results
BOYS Volleyball: MS Boys Latti beat MS Chakka by score by 2-0 (25-14, 25-19). Kabaddi: MS Chakka defeated HS Latti Gharat by score 32-24 point. Tug of War: MS Latti Gharat defeated MS Latti.
GIRLS Kho-Kho: MS Baggan defeated HS Dudu Kirchi by score 41-10 points.
The matches were officiated by a technical panel of experts of YSS Mohd Arfan, Rajesh Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Mohd Hussain Malik, Mohd. Saleem Khan and Uttam Chand.
Among others who were present were Joginder Kumar (Teacher), Abid Hussain Kanth, Kuldeep Kumar, Ankush Thakur, Altaf, Shabir, Pawan Kumar, Komal Gupta and Kewal.
