UDHAMPUR: A youth attempted suicide by consuming poisonous substance in his house at village Landar in Udhampur on Thursday. According to a report, a youth identified as Davinder Singh son of Raj Singh resident of village Landar in Udhampur took some poisonous substances in his house to end his life.
On seeing him lying unconscious, his family members shifted him to nearby PHC from where he was further referred to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors washed his stomach and condition of the victim was stated be stable. Police has registered a case for investigation.
