POONCH: XI Cricket Club and Rider-XI Cricket Club won the respective matches of Police Martyrs T20 Cricket Tournament being organised by District Police Poonch under Civic Action Programmes at Degree College Ground, here on Tuesday. In the first match played today, XI Cricket Club outplayed Shaheed Afzal Cricket Club Fazalabad by 13 runs. Batting first after winning the toss, XI Cricket Club set a target of 127 runs which in reply, Shaheed Afzal Cricket Club managed to score 114 runs in 20 overs thus lost the match by 13 runs.
In another match, Rider-XI Cricket Club registered a thrilling three-run won over Shahpur Cricket Club.
Rider-XI Cricket Club, batting first, made 61 runs which in reply, Shahpur Cricket Club failed to chase and scored 58 runs.
