JAMMU: World AIDS Day was observed at 166 Military Hospital (MH), with current year theme ‘Focus, Partner, Achieve: An AIDS-Free Generation’ signifies a push towards greater access to treatment for all; a call for govt to act now.
An awareness drive on ‘Prevention and Control of HIV/AIDS’ was organized for serving personnel and families in the form of symposium and exhibition at Dhanwantari Auditorium, 166 Military Hospital by 136 Station Health Organisation (L), today.
Brigadier M.M Harjai, SEMO and Commandant 166 MH inaugurated the awareness drive.
Lieutenant Colonel Vivek Gupta Officer Commanding 136 SHO (L) delivered a health talk on prevention and control of HIV/AIDS followed by an interactive session with audience. The symposium and exhibition benefited 216 troops and families of Jammu garrison.
