JAMMU: Giving a further boost to the election campaign, Peoples Democratic Party candidate from Jammu East Constituency Bharat Chowdhary has promised to the voters that his party will develop Jammu as Smart City and push for its inclusion in heritage cities.
Bharat Choudhary visited Circular Road, Gujjar Nagar, Jullaka Mohalla, Sheikh Amin ki Kothi areas.
People said that this time they will not be fooled by BJP and Congress parties or their hollow slogans and elect a person from one of the most enterprising and illustrious families of Jammu contesting from PDP which is sure to form next government in Jammu and Kashmir.
An election office of the party was also inaugurated at main road Gujjar Nagar area for interaction with the masses.
Bharat Chowdhary was accompanied by Parvez Fasli, Zaffar Khan (former corporator of Ward No 2) Ashok Jogi, Secretary PDP, Shafiq ul Rehman, Israr Ahmed Sofian, Chowdhary Hanief and Parveen Akhtar.
Bharat promised to provide a corruption free and responsive administration to the people of Jammu City which can effectively tackle the problems like unemployment etc.
