Workshop series organised for MBA students at MIET Jammu

Jammu: To provide beyond-the-curriculum exposure to students and making them industry-ready, a workshop series has been envisaged for the MBA students at Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Jammu.
In the series, the first two workshops on Financial Planning and Digital Marketing were conducted at MIET on 17th and 18th November.
The workshop on Financial Planning was conducted by Assistant Prof Akhil Mahajan, an Associate Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Analyst. The contents of the workshop included finance fundamentals, investment planning, financial needs analysis and goal setting, systematic investment and tracking and finally achieving financial goals.
Workshop on digital marketing was conducted by Pradyut Mishra, Product Head Digital Marketing and certification NIIT, Gurgaon.
The speaker gave concepts of Digital Marketing which has become the need of the present time, comparing it with general marketing, future growth, availability of certification courses and ever increasing employment opportunities in Digital Marketing segment.
Prof P.N Sharma, HoD welcomed the key note speakers and highlighted the importance of such workshops towards over all development of MBA students.
Prof S K Sharma, Principal and Prof Ankur Gupta, Joint Director while emphasising the need of workshops dealing with state of the art trends, expressed satisfaction and congratulated the Department of Management Studies for this initiative.
Dr Ankita Nanda, Assistant Professor, MBA presented the vote of thanks.
