Workshop held on conserving manuscripts: Abrol Manuscripts and Rare Books Library showcased collection

JAMMU: A national level workshop on preventive conservation of illustrated manuscripts was organised by Himachal Pradesh State Museum and Department of Language in collaboration with National Mission for Manuscripts Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts Ministry of Culture, Government of India New Delhi from 18th to 22nd November 2014. Executive Director Abrol Manuscripts and Rare Books Library 197, Gali Tanga Wali, Suresh Kumar Abrol accompanied by Library Assistant Kamal Sharma attended the workshop and showcased a collection of Abrol Manuscripts and Rare Books Library, ancient miniatures, Pahari paintings and illustrated manuscripts on different scripts and subjects.
