Srinagar: Repair work of damaged infrastructure was going on a war footing to restore rail service between Srinagar and Banihal in Jammu and Kashmir, which was suspended following the devastating floods.
“Our engineers are working on war footing to restore the damaged lines and other infrastructure between Srinagar and Anantnag and we are hopeful of restarting the service at the earliest,” a senior officer of the Northern Railways said.
