AKHNOOR: Department of Agriculture Sub Div Marh, Zone Mishriwalla conducted farmers awareness camp under seed village programme on wheat.
A large number of farmers took part in the camp which was conducted in presence of SDAO Marh K.K Gupta who addressed the gathering regarding different departmental schemes.
Sub Divisional Magistrate North Dr Piyush Singla was the Chief Guest in the camp. Vikas Kundal while addressing the farmers of Kangrail asked the women farmers to come forward to make income generating and employment generation units.
Later SDM had a look at the mushrooms grown by woman farmer Naresh and said that this type of farming has enormous potential in rural belts.
Arun Jaral JAEO Kangrail also spoke on the organisation of seed village camps and National Food Security Mission Schemes. Sarpanch Kangrail K.L Sharma also spoke on the occasion and asked that such type of camps will also be held in near future .
Vote of thanks was presented by AEO Mishriwalla Mohan Singh Jamwal. Others who were present in the camp-Anita Devi, Vinod Kumar, ReZ Deepak Chowdhary and Vishal.
