Modi government has strengthened the participation of women in society by running many schemes to make them empowered and self-reliant. Today, women are getting every facility like education, security, better health.Jan Dhan Yojana in which 55 percent women account holders have a stake. He also talked about the Ujjwala scheme under which, facility of free LPG gas connection was provided. This gave freedom to rural women from smoke. More than 9 crore people got free LPG gas connections. Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana was started under which loans were given to 70 percent women. This scheme was also effective in the economic progress of women.
