KATRA: Police on Friday arrested a woman drug peddler and recovered 60 grams of Ganja from her possession.
As per the details, acting on a specific input, a police team including lady Sgct. Virta Devi headed by ASI Puran Chand of Police Station Katra under the supervision of Inspector Arvind Sambyal, SHO Police Station Katra, laid a special Naka near Police Check Post Searli.
During checking/frisking the police recovered 11 pouches of polythene containing Ganja (total weighed 60 gms) from the possession of one lady namely Gayatri Devi wife of Maan Singh resident of Chamaila Mandi Lots Rajasthan who was on way towards Katra town.
The accused lady has been arrested and a case vide FIR No. 175/2016 under section 8/20 NDPS Act, was registered at Police Station Katra against her.
