Dear Editor,
The Central Government’s aggressive push for Aadhaar is inexplicable and unreasonable especially when the Supreme Court made it amply clear not to make Aadhaar mandatory for benefits otherwise due to a citizen. There is a distinct possibility that mass surveillance will become a reality. When the UPA government introduced the UIDAI scheme the BJP cried hoarse. It is strange that the same party is now trying to impose Aadhaar on us.
