Vice President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission visits Jammu Ashram

JAMMU: Shrimat Swami Gautamanand Ji Maharaj, Vice President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission visited Jammu based Ramakrishna Mission, here on Wednesday.
On his arrival, the Swamiji was received by Swami Yagyadharananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Jammu.
During his visit, the Swamiji was shown the Ashram premises and was briefed by Secretary Swami Yagyadharananda about the activities undertaken by Jammu Ashram for the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
In a special event, Swamiji addressed the youth at Vivekananda Auditorium, Ramakrishna Mission Jammu. He urged the youth to follow the ideals of Ramakrishna Vivekananda.
He said that every youth should first of all work for the betterment of his country, society and especially the poor.
More than 300 youth were present in the programme, in which 120 students were from Sarvodaya Public School. Swami Gopalananda, Suresh Sharma and other dignitaries were also present in the programme.
