JAMMU: In a step towards digitilisation, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof R.D Sharma on Monday launched the official website of the 12th JK Science Congress www.jksc2017.in at a function organised here in the University campus.
The 12th JK Science Congress is being organised by the University of Jammu from 2nd to 4th, March 2017 and is expected to be attended by more than 700 researchers from various institutions of the State and the country. The mega scientific congregation would provide a wonderful opportunity for young researchers to present their findings before the leading scientists/ professionals in the concerned disciplines.
While complimenting the organizers for creating this website (www.jksc2017.in) for digital registration and cashless transactions, Prof Sharma hoped that the website would prove to be an excellent initiative to reach out to maximum researchers across the country.
On the occasion, the Organising Secretary of the Congress, Prof Geeta Sumbali informed that the submission of abstracts and registration fee for the 12th JK Science Congress is to be done online only. The website has been developed by Vinus Sharma, Assistant Professor, Computer Science, GGM Science College, Jammu and the organisers of the 12th JK Science Congress.
Those who were present during the launch of the website included Prof. Pankaj Srivastava, Convener, Website Committee, Prof. K.K Kapoor, Prof. Yash Pal Sharma, Dr. Sikander Pal, Dr Naveen Anand, Vinus Sharma and Akhilesh.
