Veterans rally held at Pallanwala Military Station

AKHNOOR: General Officer Commanding 16 Corps, Lieutenant General K.H Singh said that the veterans and Veer Naris were a priority for the army and no stone will remain unturned to ensure they are looked after in every aspect affecting their welfare.
Lieutenant General K.H Singh was speaking in a Veterans Rally, organised by the ‘Guardians of LC Brigade’ part of Crossed Swords Division, on Wednesday at Pallanwala Military Station.
The welfare schemes and measures for improvement and uplift of the veterans and Veer Naris of the area were addressed.
Brigadier R.S Bhadauria welcomed all the veterans and Veer Naris.
General Officer Commanding Crossed Swords Division, Major General A.K Dhar requested the veterans to avail maximum benefit from the programmes being offered by the Government of India.
Director Rajya Sainik Welfare Board, Brigadier (Retd) R.S Langeh and Director Regional Centre ECHS, Jammu, Colonel N.J Shivade informed about the various schemes which have been introduced for the veterans, Veer Naris and their dependents.
Lieutenant Colonel KS Sanyal (Retd) and Lieutenant Col B.R Sharma (Retd) were the other speakers who informed the rally about the pension related issues.
Lieutenant General K.H Singh also facilitated the Veer Naris.
