A few US lawmakers have and had blamed India for attacks by the Jihadis and other anti-nationals. In 1985, after the Air India Kanishka bombing, a US Senator had mentioned that this was the handiwork of the Indian secret service to tarnish the image of Khalistani ‘freedom-fighters’. The Senator had also justified training of mercenaries in US camps. This material was on the Internet till the late 1990s or so, after which it disappeared.
