Two policemen injured while rescuing leopard

SRINAGAR: Two policemen were injured when they were rescuing a leopard from a hospital here this evening.
Police was informed that a leopard has entered in an under construction 200 bed Maternity Hospital adjacent to Haj House Bemina. Following this information a police party alongwith the officials of Wildlife Department immediately rushed the spot and rescued the leopard. However, two cops identified as constables Gulzar Ahmad and Habibullah sustained injuries after they were attacked by the leopard during the rescue process.
The injured policemen were shifted to hospital for treatment and the leopard was handed over to Wildlife Department.
