RAJOURI: Police on Monday arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 155 grams Charas from his possession.
According to a report, during the intervening night of 26th -27th March 2017, a police party of Police Station Kalakole led by SHO Inspr. Mohd Iqbal on a specific information laid a Naka at Kalakote and intercepted one drug peddler namely Rajan Gupta alias Ladi son of Late Raj Kumar Gupta resident of Mine Colony Kalakote and recovered 20/ 25grms of Charas(Chhali) form his possession.
A case vide FIR No.19/2017 under section 8/20/21 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Kalakote.
Meanwhile, in joint action of District Special Branch Samba in collaboration with a Police Party of Police Station Vijaypur headed by SHO Vijaypur Inspector Suraj Pathania on a some specific information laid a Naka at Swankha Morah on National Highway area and nabbed one person namely Joginder Singh alias Kanta son of Gulab Singh recovered Swankha Morh and recovered two Challis of Charas weighing 130gms from his possession. A case vide FIR No. 39/2017 under section 8/21 NDPS Act was registered and investigation is going on.
