UDHAMPUR: In two separate road mishaps, two persons were killed in Udhampur and Samba on Saturday.
A man was killed when one trailor-vehicle enroute Srinagar from Jammu collided with another vehicle this morning near petrol pump in Barsoo area of Udhamphr on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. The deceased has been identified as Sangram Singh, son of Gurdarab Singh, resident of Patoli, Bari Brahmna Jammu.
Meanwhile, One pedestrian was died on spot after he was hit by a truck (JK02AB-3557) at SIDCO Chowk Bari-Brahmana on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway. The deceased was identified as Raj Kumar (46) son of Parma Nand resident of Najwal (Bishnah). Bari-Brahmana Police has registered the case in this regard for further investigation and also seized the truck. As per the police report the said deceased was employee in JKAP and during the incident he was trying to cross the road and got hit by truck.
