JAMMU: Continuing the operation ‘Sanjeevani’ , a police Naka laid by ASI Om Parkash Sharma intercepted an Innova car bearing registration No JK02AH-8372. During checking the police recovered 40 grams of heroin from the possession of driver namely Sarjeevan Singh alias Laadi son of Balbir Singh resident of Flouri, Tehsil R S Pura and his associate Rattan Lal alias Pidu son of Tunda Ram resident of Agra Chak, Tehsil RS Pura. Both the accused were arrested and case FIR No. 202/2016 U/S 8/21/22/60 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation is going on. The consignment was recovered by the team headed by Inspr. Bishnesh Kumar SHO Police Station Gandhi Nagar assisted by ASI Om Parkash under the supervision of Sachin Gupta, Dy.SP, SDPO City South and Shazaad Salaria, SP City South, Jammu.
