JAMMU: Jaanbaaz Khalsa Gatka Academy, the school whose curriculum includes a step by step certification programme of the Sikh martial art Gatka, organised a two days summer camp for children at Dogra Academy Miran Sahib ,here which include on Monday.
Over 100 students attended the camp. Academy members gave demonstration of various fundamental exercises and concepts which make the foundation of the art of Gatka.
Students were briefed about various essential topics such as personality development, general awareness, career reference and golden rules of first aid that can help them to pursue their career and achieve success.
Special lecture was delivered by Retd. Master Paramjeet Singh over drug abuse and Sikh Maryada. Academy staff Rattandeer Singh, Dalgir Singh, Sandeep Singh, Tejinder Singh, Abjot Singh, Amandeep Singh, Gurleen Singh, Gurpreet Kour, Jagvinder Singh, Rashleen Kour, Jarnail Singh, Gursharan Singh and Gagandeep Singh were also present. Special thanks were extended to Bimla and Prem, owners of Dogra Academy Miran Sahib.
