KATHUA: Two days Rollball Championship of District Kathua was inaugurated by Baljinder Singh, Manager Sports Complex Kathua at Skating Rink Kathua on Saturday.
Over 120 players/officials of all age groups from different schools are participating in championship. Players were very excited about their team participating in championship.
In sub Junior section, team SJ Blue defeated team SJ Red 7- 3. For winner team, Arnav scored five goals, Hamwati and Arman one goal each. From loser side, Ridham scored two goals and Krishana made one goal. In junior section, J Red team defeated J Blue team 5-2. Gurpreet scored two goals while Shubham, Amit and Sujal scored one each.
Matches are being played under the supervision of Senior National players Prabhal Singh and Sameer Gupta.
A large number of parents and spectators were present to watch the matches.
Mamta Chauhan is Chairman of organizing committee and Ajit Raj is organizing Secretary on end of day one. Refreshment to players and officials were served.
