Two-day ICOP by CBC, J&K concludes

Batote: Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India, J&K on Tuesday concluded it’s 5th Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme (2 day Photo-Exhibition) under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at Government Model Higher Secondary School, Batote.
The closing ceremony was attended by Chairman Block Development Council, Batote, Rajeshwar Kumar.
The programme was aimed to aware the students about the sacrifices being made by the freedom fighters during the freedom movement of India. Apart from this, the students were also informed about the freedom fighters of North India especially from Jammu and Kashmir who fought for the freedom of India.
In his address, Chairman BDC, Batote, Rajeshwar Kumar said that the nation is indebted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this wonderful initiative ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav’ which has informed everyone about the sacrifices being made by the freedom fighters of India. He further said that India has been able to attain a dominant position in the world due to the vision and mission of PM Narendra Modi Ji.
Principal GMHSS Batote, Dev Raj while giving his vote of thanks appreciated the efforts of Central Bureau of Communication, J&K for organizing such exhibitions under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav’.
Khursheed Yousuf, Field Publicity Officer, Central Bureau of Communication, Field Office, Udhampur apprised the audience about the mandate of the Central Bureau of Communication and also informed them about the structure and functioning of CBC.
Besides officials from RDD, Police, Revenue Department, ASHA workers, ICDS workers, students and teachers, the program was also attended by Field Publicity Officer, CBC, Field Office Udhampur, Sh. Khursheed Yousuf, Gurnaam Singh, I/C FOB Rajouri, Sh. Rajesh Sharma, I/C FOB Doda, Area Marketing Officer, Sh. Sunil Bakshi and CDPO Ramban, Miss Ravinder Kour.
Theme based cultural programmes were presented by the private registered troupe (PRT) of CBC, J&K and Ladakh. Students from various schools across district Ramban including JNVs visited the exhibition. Drawing, singing of patriotic songs and a quiz competition was also conducted by the Bureau and winners were felicitated with prizes.
