JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir won two bronze medals in the ongoing Gatka events of the Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG) at Panchkula in Haryana.
As per the reports reaching here, these bronze medals came in men’s team and individual event. While the team finished third in Fari Soti, the individual medal came in Single Stick event.
The individual medal in Single Stick clinched by Ikmeet Singh and the Bronze winning team comprised Prabjot Singh, Gurleen Singh and Maanamrit Singh.
Earlier, in the team event, J&K gave a tough fight to strong sides line Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttarakhand.
The team taking part in the KIYG under the banner of Gatka Association of Jammu and Kashmir.
