UDHAMPUR: In two different cases suicide attempts were made but due to timely handling the tragedies were averted and both the involved persons were in stable condition.
In the first case one Tishi Devi wife of Ravi Kumar resident of village Thandal, Tehsil Ramnagar consumed some poisonous substance and became unconscious. She was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar and then to District Hospital Udhampur.
In the second case a middle aged man identified as Fenu Ram son of Gatu Ram resident of village Katheel Ganju, Tehsil Ramnagar consumed poison and became unconscious. He was also shifted to SDH Ramnagar and then to District Hospital Udhampur.
Since the patients reached the hospital in time and they were provided required medical treatment, they recovered and their condition, according to last reports, is stable.
The police in both the instances have registered cases for investigation.
