Trikuta Nagar firing: Bajrang Dal flays police for shielding miscreants

JAMMU: Bajrang Dal on Saturday accused Jammu and Kashmir Police for shielding the miscreants involved in firing incident at Trikuta Nagar on 6th of November, 2014.
Addressing the media persons, State President, Bajrang Dal, Rakesh Sharma alleged that police has been shielding the miscreants namely Sayed Shah Bukhari, son of Dr. Mumtaz Shah and Yasir Hussain Shah, son of Shabir Ahmed Shah, both residents of Sanai Surankot Poonch at present residing at Chowadi, Sainik Colony, who were involved in the shooting incident at Trikuta Nagar in which window pane of Shiv idol installed outside the Temple on Trikuta Nagar- Channi Road was pierced by the bullet.
He said that the claim made by police that miscreants are mentally deranged and were under the influence of some intoxicants is totally absurd and fabricated alleging that on the contrary, one of the victims is pursuing degree of law.
Rakesh demanded that the miscreants should be examined at some reputed hospital to confirm the status of their psychological condition. He further alleged that police under pressure from certain influential officials and political leaders are providing undue protection to the guilty.
