Tributes paid to Capt Sunil Choudhary

KATHUA: Rich tributes were paid to Capt. Sunil Choudhary who laid down his life on 27th January 2008 while safeguarding the country.
A simple ceremony was held at the Memorial of brave son of the soil, located near Ambedkar Bridge, Kathua where a large number of people and war veterans were present.
The local unit of the army saluted the brave soldier and wreaths were laid at the Memorial by the parents of late Capt. Sunil Choudhary. Thereafter, Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Ramesh Kumar, SSP Pawan Parihar, ADC, Dr. Bharat Bhushan, ASP, Khalil Poswal and senior army officers of local units, Gian Singh Pathania, former soldiers and locals were also paid the tributes.
The speakers spoke about bravery of the departed soldier and paid gloring tributes to him. The father of Capt. Tushar Mahajan, who attained martyrdom recently, had especially come from Udhampur to pay floral tributes to Capt. Sunil Choudhary. A large number of war veterans and locals participated in the programme.
