UDHAMPUR: On the direction of Justice M.M Kumar , chief Justice J and K High Court and Patron-in-Chief, State Legal Services Authority, Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC) Sudesh Sharma distributed relief material among the flood hit victims in Majalta in Udhampur on Wednesday. Relief material was distributed in order to extend support to aggrieved victims who have lost their houses and belongings.
Relief material which includes clothes and eatables had been sent by Chief Justice M.M Kumar to the District and Tehsil Legal Services Committees in flood hit areas to ensure its proper distribution among flood and landslide hit victims.
In this regard TLSC Chairman Majalta arranged relief distribution camp at Maljata to distribute material among the sufferers hailing from different Panchyats of the Tehsil in presence of the Sarpanchs, Panchs and Bar members. In the camp flood affected people apprised the chairman about the problems being faced by them. They were asked to approach the Legal Aid Clinics which have been opened for them by J and K SLSA and assured them full help in mitigating their sufferings.
