KALAKOT: Wasim Kohli, Youth Leader Kalakote called for effective measures to meet emergent situations so as to minimise human and property loss in case of any possible catastrophe.
He visited flood affected areas of Argi, Dalhori, Bindi Jamola, Sarano, Ladhote, Kalalkas, Garan Kunhan, Dugga, Panjah and many other Panchayats where deputation of locals headed by their representatives called on him and apprised him with the problems being faced by the people in post flood situation after the water has receded.
Wasim said that there is an urgent need for disbursement of relief for the reconstruction of houses so that people could have atleast something to live in before the onset of winter. He appealed to the revenue authorities that proper assessment of the losses to be made earliest so that proper distribution of the relief material may also be made.
