Three problems

0 89

Dear Editor,
In the wake of JNU protests, much has been said of nationalism. Generally, things that look petty initially snowball into big issues. Major issues like poverty, inflation, unemployment, corruption etc are infringed upon by the following three problems: First, Parliament is not a platform to settle scores. The members of the ruling and opposition parties should join heads to reach a consensus to run the session smoothly. All grave issues should be hammered out to a positive outcome in a certain time period. Second, an all-party meeting must lay down foolproof criteria for the reservation policy by considering the Apex Court judgment and various commission reports. There are needy people in all categories. Third, it should be made mandatory that all protests be held peacefully.
