Three bike-borne persons killed as truck hits motorcycle in Udhampur on NH-44

DODA : Three people from Doda district were killed in a motorcycle accident after their bike was hit by a truck near Garnai on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur District.

The deceased have been identified as Shahzad Hussain, son of Abdul Aziz from Chanias, Doda, Mubashir Hussain, son of Ghulam Mohd from Gundna, Doda, and Vimal Kumar, son of Ram Nath from Mulla tehsil Thatri, Doda.

Nishad Ahamed SHO PS Rehambal said that after Getting the Information he alsong with Police Party of Police Station Rehambal rushed to the spot and the three injured persons were taken to the Associated Hospital Government Medical College Udhampur, where doctors declared two of them dead on arrival.

One of the injured, who was in critical condition, was referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for further treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries on way to GMC Jammu. He also added that Police Registered the case in this Regards and further investigation going on.
