JAMMU: The J&K BJP Spokesperson, Sunil Sethi, on Saturday said that the ‘Sankalp Patra’ of the party released by Home Minister Amit Shah yesterday is visionary that it has rattled all the political parties.
Sunil Sethi was accompanied by BJP Spokesperson YV Sharma and Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra on the occasion.
“In the ‘Sankalp Patra’ of the BJP, the aspirations of all the sections of the society have been accommodated and the vision for the future roadmap has been presented,” Sethi said while addressing a press conference, here today.
Sethi said that BJP is the only party which fulfills the promises made in its manifesto released in each election be it Assembly elections or be it Parliamentary elections.
“The BJP fulfilled 95% of the promises made in its manifesto in 2014 Assembly elections in J&K and 97% promises made in its manifesto in 2019 Lok Sabha elections,” Sethi said.
“The ‘Sankalp Patra’ released yesterday by Union Home Minister has baffled all the political parties and none has been able to criticize it,” he said, adding, “We have given future roadmap of development in J&K”.
The ‘Sankalp Patra’, he said, has been prepared after a long and hectic exercise by reaching out to all sections of the society across J&K and taking feedback from them regarding their problems and aspirations. In the ‘Sankalp Patra’, we have promised to give laptops to students, provide monetary assistance to students, Rs 18000 to elderly women, relief in pending power bills, enhancement in pension of widows and Physically challenged besides addressing other issues of the people, Sethi said.
“People, in these Assembly elections have to choose between BJP which wiped out terrorism and brought development and those are intending to bring back militancy,” Sethi said, while referring to NC and Congress.
“As Amit Shah has rightly said, this Assembly election is the first election held under the Indian Constitution,” Sethi said, while adding, “Those who were part of Separatist parties and members of Jamaat-e Islami are now contesting elections held under the Indian Constitution”.
There are no 2 Constitutions now, Sethi said.
