JAMMU: A teenager boy on Thursday shot himself to death with a licensed weapon of his father at his residence in Sainik Colony area.
Police have also found a suicide note from the spot.
“A boy, identified as Gourav Chowdhary, 16, this morning allegedly shot himself with a licensed pistol of his father on the rooftop of his house in Sector E, Sainik Colony here,” police said.
They said that deceased’s father Jagdev Singh is a property dealer. “We have also found a suicide note from the spot in which the boy had expressed his last wish,” police said.
“My Last Wish: Mera Phone Mere Saath Jala Dena!!,” the suicide note said.
“We have scrutinised the details of his cellphone and handed it over to the family,” police said. They said that the deceased was a student of class 11 of J P World School.
“We have registered a case and initiated investigation,” police said.
