RAJOURI: Regional Employees Front and Teachers’ Joint Front on Wednesday strongly criticized the transfers and adjustments made by the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri alleging violations of norms.
Addressing a press conference held under Chairmanship of Satish Kumar, the members of Regional Employees Front and Teachers’ Joint Front appealed to Education Minister for intervening and initiating an enquiry unveil the irregularities.
They alleged that gross violation of transfer norms have been made for making pick and choose adjustments. “Hundreds of teachers and even the ReT teachers were attached in the offices. The choicest persons were adjusted in zero kilometer area. A teacher who was transferred from a school after nine years was attached in the same school again”, they further alleged.
They demanded that an independent probe be ordered to go into the detail of the posting/transfers carried out to provide benefit to blue-eyed.
