Tawi Roller Skating Club shines at 2 UT Open Tournament

JAMMU: The 2 UT Open Roller Skating Tournament, held at the MA Stadium Skating Ring, witnessed exceptional performances from the players of Tawi Roller Skating Club, who won a total of 15 medals in various categories.
Coached by Suresh, the team from Tawi Roller Skating Club displayed remarkable skill and dedication. During the tournament Krish in the age group 14-17 boys won 2 gold medals in 500 and 1000 meter. Anshika in the age group 5-7 girls won 2 gold medals in 500 and 1000 meter rink race. Gurkeerat won 1 gold in 500 meters. Gurtej in the age group 9-11 won 2 gold in 500 and 1000 meter. Pavit in 7-9 boys won 2 gold medals, Medhasvi in age group of 5-7 girls won 1silver 1 bronze, Akshin in age group of 7-9 boys won 2 silver, Harsh in age group 9-11 boys won 2 silver, Ragini in age group 7-9 girls won 1 silver 1 gold medals, Parth in 14-17 boys won 2 silver. Similarly Pearl gets 2 silver and harseerat won 2 silver also.
The tournament saw participation from several roller skating clubs from across the region, but the Tawi Roller Skating Club players stole the show with their impressive performances.
Tawi Roller Skating Club’s success can be attributed to the guidance of Coach Suresh, who has been instrumental in honing the skills of the players. His expertise and encouragement have helped the team to excel in the tournament.
The tournament was organized by J&K Roller Skating (Sports) association to promote roller skating in the region and to provide a platform for young talent to shine.
