Take effective measures to restore peace, normalcy in J&K: SADN

JAMMU: Shiromani Akali Dal National (SADN) in its general body meeting held at Jammu expressed their grief over the loss of precious lives in the on going turmoil in Kashmir Valley and urged upon both State and Central Government to take effective measures to restore normalcy, peace and tranquillity in the State.
Prof. Amrik Singh Saathi, General Secretary (SADN) while addressing the meeting appealed to the Sikh community of the State to show complete solidarity and all kind of help to the families who lost their loved ones and also pledged to extend full support to State Government in restoration of peace and normalcy in Kashmir Valley.
Reacting strongly on the continuos medalling of Pakistan in India’s internal affairs he said that time has come to sort out Pakistan to make her understand in her own language. He urged upon Central Government to smash all the factories opened by Pakistan across the International Border and LoC where the terrorists are trained and pumped into State and other parts of India to disrupt peace and tranquillity.
He further appealed to the peace loving masses of Kashmir to honour and maintain their rich traditional religious, social and culture values and put up their genuine issues in a peaceful and democratic way which is their constitutional right. They have also been urged upon to identify the anti national elements who instigate the innocent youth for stone pelting on security forces for their personal gains resulting in loss of precious lives. He also appealed to the people in Valley not to get swayed away emotionally by such elements to attack para -military and police post as they are also your own sons and brothers who have been deployed for the security and protection of common peace loving masses rather they should help the security forces to take care of such disruptive forces.
Among others who attended the meeting include Harban Singh, Surinder Singh, Gurchan Singh, Hardev Singh, Iqbal Singh, Mohinder Singh Khalsa, Rajinder Singh and Amrik Singh.
