THANAMANDI: NSS unit of Govt. Degree College Thannamandi organised a symposium on the topic ‘role of teacher in the society’. Principal of the College Dr B.B Sharma was the Chief Guest on the occasion who appreciated the efforts of the NSS Unit of the college for organising such programmes which is need of the hour.
Among others present on the occasion included Dr. A.R Qadri HoD Urdu, Prof. Saleem Ayaz Rather HoD. Zoology, Prof Junaid Jazib HoD. EVs, Prof. Mujeeb, Prof Abass, Prof Gohar Iqabal, Prof Azeem ul Hassan ,Prof. Manzoor, Prof. Sawan and Prof Rakesh Kumar.
The students who participated in the symposium included Aarzoo Chaand, Shabeena Magray, Farhad Mir Saiqa and Wasiq .
Earlier the programme started with recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran by Khalid student of the college .Prof. Nayeem conducted the proceedings of the progranmme and the formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof Saleem Ayaz Rather Programme Officer NSS.
