Surya Partap wins silver in Masters Challenge Wushu Cup

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir ace player Surya Bhanu Partap Singh brought laurels for the state by winning silver medal in the Masters Challenge Wushu Cup 2016 at Macau. His selection was based on his best performance in the 13th World Wushu championship held at Indonesia-2015.
Surya Bhanu Partap Singh defeated Macau and Philippines and lost to China in the final in the third round.
It is pertinent to mention here that he has been also selected for the 8th Sanda World Cup to be held at Xian, China from 1st to 7th November 2016. Bhanu Partap is in National Wushu coaching at Shilaroo/NIS Patiala from 20th May under the guidance Kuldeep Handoo Chief Coach of India.
The Wushu Association of India President Bhupender Singh Bajwa and other office bearers congratulated Bhanu Partap for the achievement along with the coaches deputed with the National Coaching camp.
In the current year it is second medal in the international event, earlier he secured gold medal in the 11th South Asian Games in india. The Office Bearers of Wushu Association of J and K, S Owais, , H.K Lohia, Yogesh Sawhney, Vijay Saraf, Ranjeet Kalra, Deepak Handa,
