JAMMU: Rashtriya Ekta Mission, New Delhi, organized an award distribution ceremony on National Integrity and Social Services, on the occasion of Hindi New Year.
On the occasion, mentor and senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar distributed memento, certificates and shawls among the recipients from across the country in various streams of life and services.
From Jammu and Kashmir State, Chief Correspondent, Sudarshan News Channel, Rahul Sharma received the prestigious award for the field of Journalism and patriotism. Rahul Sharma started carrier in active journalism for the last so many years in various northern states.
The occasion was graced by other distinguish guests including Union Minister, Bandaru Dattatriya, MP New Delhi Meenakashi Lekhi and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Indresh Kumar said that services to mankind are the biggest asset with a person. He asserted that in the present times youth are inclined towards short cuts which finally land them in serious troubles. He urged upon the youth to shun evil within and among people not the people so that country might have a bright future ahead.
Rahul, while expressing gratitude to the selection committee, said that youth is the asset of any developing country and together with single direction could achieve any desired goal. He insisted for unity and integrity of people of the country and in particular for the people of Jammu and Kashmir for prolonged peace and prosperity.
