NEW DELHI: State BJP Kissan Morcha delegation called on National BJP Kissan Morcha President Vijay Pal Singh Tomar here at BJP Head Office and demanded compensation for Pak firing hit farmers of border areas.
President State BJP Kissan Morcha Rajinder Singh Chib gave a memorandum to Tomar citing that due to heavy shelling and ceasefire violation in the border areas the farmers are finding it difficult to harvest crops and with no other source of income are literally on the verge of starvation. It was also submitted that large section of farmers affected by the border firing is demanding compensation and assurance for their crops security as against frequent ceasefire violations. State BJP Kissan Morcha Vice President Pavinder Gupta alias Gollu Shah, General Secretary Sunil Dutt alias Raka, State Secretary Nazir Gujjar and others accompanied the delegation.
