POONCH: Star Club Surankote shall be playing against Shaheed Manjit Singh Memorial Volleyball Club in the final of the ongoing Civil Military Volleyball Tournament, organised by 25 RR (Sector-6) at Surankote, near here on Thursday.
Earlier, in the semifinals, Star Club defeated Habib Club Surankote in a well contested game 3-2 (22-25, 25-21, 26-24, 22-25, 15-13.
Akshay, Ayaz Mir and Mohd Tariq played well for the winning side.
In other semifinal, Shaheed Manjit Club trounced Night Club Mendhar in straight sets of 3-0 (25-13, 26-24, 25-19). Ramiz Tariq, Salman Khan and Anjum Mehtab played excellent game from Shaheed Manjit Club.
